Antitrust Position--Unusual In-House Opportunity

Outstanding company that covers controversial and high profile antitrust merger cases is seeking to add an attorney to its stellar Antitrust Team. This publication has made a significant impact on Wall Street and with Fortune 500 company subscribers. The Antitrust Team is made up of former Federal Government and BigLaw associates with top credentials.

Prefer 5 plus years of antitrust experience from either a law firm, trade association or the government. Focus of experience must be on merger work and not litigation. CFIUS experience is a huge plus. Attorneys report on and make projections about cutting edge antitrust cases that are at the forefront of the financial and legal news.

We have placed numerous attorneys with this company. All have reported an extremely high level of job satisfaction and have turned down subsequent offers to return to a law firm. It is an opportunity to work in a casual but energized setting with smart and enthusiastic people. It is also an opportunity to keep your hand in the law but work reasonable hours and have a life.

The attorneys who work for the various teams within this organization have made valuable contacts in the course of reporting on major issues involving antitrust, bankruptcy, communications and consumer protection.

If you are looking for a good work/life balance and want to work with a dynamic group that is building a highly respected product, this opportunity may be right for you. Must be outgoing, inquisitive, able to write clearly and succinctly and be comfortable making educated predictions on the outcome of cases.

Compensation is lower than law firms but better than many government agencies and there is definitely upside potential (including bonuses and possible equity for top performers). Terrific location in downtown DC, outstanding company culture and very reasonable hours.

Due to the number of resumes, we can only respond to those applicants who meet the criteria set forth by our client. You resume will not be sent to any prospective employer without your permission.
