Outstanding litigation boutiques in DC seek top associates. Several boutique firms are currently hiring associates with 2-6 years of experience. Work includes white collar, fraud, investigations, sophisticated plaintiffs and class action work, commercial litigation, false claims act, antitrust, etc.
These firms all have very high standards and most of the current associates are large law firm transplants who wanted a more collegial environment, significant hands-on and meaningful work, effective mentorship and frequent feedback on their work.

Compensation varies from high base/no bonus to low base with an opportunity to earn significant bonuses. All firms require top academics and experience at a large firm or a highly regarded boutique firm. Must have the DC bar or be eligible to waive in. A federal clerkship or top state court clerkship is a plus.
