TEMP to PERM/IN-HOUSE: Great opportunity for a PARALEGAL: A company in the Washington, DC area has an opening on a temp to perm basis for a paralegal who has TWO YEARS of EMPLOYMENT LAW experience. The company prefers a paralegal who has worked in-house or for a major law firm and who has supported clients who are being investigated or charged by the EEOC The paralegal will respond to EEO charges. The work will involve keeping track of documents and conducting investigations with employees. The paralegal must be comfortable in talking with all levels of employees and persisting in reaching the employees. The company also prefers a paralegal who has some OSHA experience and may have worked in a transportation industry.
This is a temporary position to start and an hourly rate will be paid for that portion of the position. The temp position is expected to last two to three months to ensure that the fit is a good one for both sides.
